About Me.

I am a passionate advocate for international education, originally from Canada but with over five years of experience studying and working in the United States, in Hawaii and California. I am currently based in Northern Ireland, where I serve as a Student Success Coordinator at Northeastern University in partnership with Queen's University Belfast. With a strong foundation in intercultural studies and a keen interest in innovative teaching methods, I aim to create inclusive and globally-oriented learning environments that empower individuals to reach their full potential.

Professional History

July 2023 - Present

Global Student Success Coordinator
Northeastern University

Positioned in Belfast, Northern Ireland, I facilitate student success by connecting students to academic, medical, and mental health resources. This entails one-on-one mentorship, organizing student programs and excursions, maintaining high standards of student conduct and ensuring participant safety and well-being.

September 2022 - July 2023

Teaching Assistant to Support Remote Learners
Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey

Positioned in Monterey, California, I ensured successful delivery of hybrid courses and the equitable participation of online learners. This entailed providing technological and instructional support to courses in which there were both in-person and online learners, technology support for faculty members, and peer mentoring of other students.

November 2021 - May 2022

Communication Skills Coordinator

InStage

Based in Toronto, Canada, I operated InStage simulation technology to deliver real time support and training for students and mid career professionals. Simulations included: self-introductions, job interviews, business pitches, and presentations. I debriefed clients on artificial intelligence (AI) generated feedback reports and supported outreach marketing campaigns by identifying high potential instructor and learner verticals.
